I'm 61 and a HAM since 1974. My home is Mechelen, a place in the middle between Antwerp and Brussels in the "surrealistic country" (dixit PM Charles Michel, I totally agree) called Belgium.
I operate CW and JT65 each about 50% of the time and love chasing DX and tough awards.
- Kenwood TS-590SG;
(master in a master/slave combination with TS-590S)
- Kenwood TS-590S;
(slave, 2nd receiver, works very well)
- Elecraft KX3;
(roofing filters, battery charger, ATU etc. included)
- low height dipole.
(axis almost true North-South, low end North, far from ideal)
That's all there is.
I like QRP but I'm not fanatic about it. I operate QRP with the call ON7QRP.
I'm always interested in hearing how I sound like in other parts of the world. If you happen to make a recording, please send me a copy or link together with the date and time of the recording.
Thank you beforehand.
73, good DX
