I'm 59, a happy bachelor and a HAM since 1974. My home is Mechelen, a place halfway between Antwerp and Brussels in this crazy country called Belgium.
I operate CW, SSB, JT65 and occasionally RTTY. I love chasing tough awards.
Hardware here is a Kenwood TS-590, an Icom IC-703 Plus, a Yaesu FT-817ND a few keyers and a low sloping 20m long OCFD, that's it.
For /P I use a magnetic loop and the FT-817ND. (of course)
On the topic of QRP, aaah mm yes, well it's FUN, it's addictive and by the way A-MA-ZING what you can do with just a few Watts.
Check out Aki, JQ2UOZ on what he accomplished with 500 mW (that's right 500 milliWatt) and a few dipoles!
72/73, good DX
