Click for more detail... I entered amateur radio after passing my foundation licence exam on 19/04/2006 and received the callsign M3NUY, this allowed me to use a large selection of bands with a max power of 10W. I passed my intermediate licence exam on 19/07/2006 and received the callsign 2E0DEQ, this allows me to transmit on most amateur radio bands with a max power of 50W. My transceiver is the Icom 718 and I am mainly working on 10/20/40 metre bands. The picture above is a QSL card I sometimes use and is a picture of my local area about 3m/5km away from my home QTH. It was taken looking towards North Wales over the River Dee and Hilbre Island (EU 120). It is possible to access EU 120 by walking across at low tide. Another point of local interest is Leasowe Lighthouse (www.leasowelighthouse.co.uk) which is only 1m/2km away from where the above picture was taken. Feel free to copy and print my picture for your collection. QSL Information: Please QSL to address as above or EQSL. No cards via Bureaux.
