I live on the North East coast of England in the City of Sunderland.

I passed my foundation licence on May 27th 2010. (M6OAP)

I have now passed my Intermediate exam on September 6th 2010 (2EØOAP).

I’m using a Kenwood TS-2000E and a Kenwood Ts-590S with a 10 metre Vertical Delta Loop from Porwhip Antennas (total length of wire used 30 metres) and a Snowdonia SRC X80 vertical for 80m-6m, and A Full G5RV Antenna, (inverted V). for 40 and 80 meter band with a MFJ-941E Tuner, also a Diamond X-30 High Gain 2m/70cm Collinear.

My Max power is 50 Watts.

MOBILE STATION

My Yaesu FT-857D which I use mobile with a Moonraker SPX-300 HF Multiband Mobile Antenna.

I have had some great contacts with this setup in the car. AUSTRALIA, NEW ZEALAND, BRAZIL, USA, CANADA, CUBA, EUROPE, Ect.

 

I've been interested in radio since the early 80s, and also done a lot of short wave listening, with a lots of different receivers on a 10 Metre Wire Dipole.

 

I Passed my test at The Houghton-Le-Spring Amateur Radio Club G3NMD.
