Stacja pracuje dla upamiętnienia udziału Polaków w bitwie o Monte Cassino, w tym szczególnie żołnierzy I Samodzielnej Kompanii Komandosów, którzy weszli do walki o Monte Cassino w dniu 17 stycznia 1944 i opanowali stoki wzgórza Monti Auruncii. Za zasługi w tej bitwie 21 komandosów otrzymało Ordery Virtuti Militarii lub Krzyże Walecznych. Finalna faza btwy to maj1944 z udziałem całego II Korpusu Polskiego. Wszyscy żołnierze Korpusu zostali odznaczeni Krzyżem Monte Cassino.


Special Call for commemoration the battle of Monte Cassino (battle of Rome) 1944, specialement for contribution of the Polish Soldiers. The first assault was made on January the 17th.The Polish First Commando climb Monti Auruncii, but lost many victimes. The final battle was on May the 11th till the18th. All Polish Soldiers received The Monte Cassino Commemorative Cross.
