The callsign 5P5Q is NOT a "special event" or something else special (except maybe the operator, hi hi), but prefix 5P (and 5Q, OV and OU) is "new" prefix series for Denmark.
This callsign is mainly for DXing, so
IF and WHEN I call CQ DX, I mean DX.
So IF you are an European station, do NOT call me UNLESS your DXCC is one of the following:
S.M.O.M. - Monaco - ITU HQ - Malta - Andorra - Isle of Man - Guernsey - Jersey - Liechtenstein - Vatican - Svalbard - Jan Mayen - Aland Island - Market Reef - Faroe Islands - Mount Athos - San Marino - Gibraltar.
The mentioned DXCCs are considered to be DX and can call me anytime.
I will however, use a day or two every week to work European stations.
ClubLog will be updated when I'm QRT for the day.
Licensed 1973 as OZ9XU, which still is my main call.
