It was necessary to make a coil of coaxial cable out of 10 turns with a 25cm diameter close to the antenna connection, because of RF radiation in my shack ( I burned my fingers at the Schurr Key, RF distorted my modulation with compressor on and the power unit of my Automatic Antenna Tuner stopped working when using 1KW) and it reduced the reciever background noise with 5 S units!

I must change the 3 band kelemen to a 2 band 160 and 80m antenna, because the 40m part influence the Rotary Dipole ! The Rotary Dipole was equal or even better then the Kelemen 40m Antenna.

If You install the transceiver as I did (see picture) the ventilation of the windscreen will be an exellent cooling!
Before I had the tansceiver in the glove compartment, where the station becomes very hot.
Battery control, very important, when using the transceiver without running motor to be sure, You can start the car again!
