BIOGRAPHY :- My name is Paul and I am 44 years old. I began the hobby with a Danita Mark5 a cb radio and I also began to make several qso's around Europe on the cb band. I was very happy with this hobby and I began to study to become a Ham operator. I began studying in August 2002 and in December of the same year I sat for the City & Guilds exam that I passed. From there I began to study Morse and in March 2003 I made the exam which was positive with the CW exam. I had my full license as a Ham operator on the 17th of April 2003 and most of my time is spent chasing DX on the HF bands mostly on SSB. At the moment my overall country total is that of 326 dxcc’s worked with 326 dxcc's confirmed. I am working on 9 Bands HF SSB-CW 10-12-15-17-20-30-40-80-160 MTRS. I work also VHF on 6MTRS and 2 MTRS. I am very interested in Awards and in the moment I have10 BAND DXCC 6-10-12-15-17-20-30-40-80-160 MTRS DXCC's , DXCC CHALLENGE ( 2600 worked ), 5BWAC, WAS, 5BWAZ, TRIPLE PLAY AWARD, CanadAward, All Japan Districts, Worked All Japan Prefectures, Japan Century Cities,Todos Los Paises de America, Worked All Europe, Worked All Pacific, Worked All Africa, Antarctica Award, Asian DX Award, Worked All Nordic Countries, Worked All SquaresVHF, WARC 1000 and many more. I am also in the A1 Operator Club and I am the first Maltese for having this certificate and I am very proud of it. My Qth is Lija which is situated in the central part of Malta Island.
