The total area is 316 square Km (Malta 246, Gozo 67, Comino 2.7) The Island of Gozo is a archaeologial time capsule.One of the oldest free-standing structures in the world exists today at Ggantija Temples in Xaghra and artifacts from all periods are to be found on display at the islands museums.The latest of these is in the Village of Nadur and portrays maritime history with the aid of models,photo's and audio visul displays.The Gozo Heritage in Ghajnsielem is a stunning trip through past times as does the Gozo 360 degree show at the Citadel Cinema complex Victoria.Just up the hill from the cinema is the Citadel with it's Cathedral.Law Courts and some really wonderful views of over Gozo.
