I am happy to have made contact with you, and if I haven't ,hope to see you soon there I started in CB radio at the age of 16 and 2 years after I got introduced to Ham radio.I was born on 5th August 1970 ,so now you can check how young I am (HI HI ) .

I am currently trying to get into every area of Ham radio I am set up on HF using an IC-756 into homebuilt 7ele log periodic Yagi ( homebrewed version of cushcraft X-7). I also have 2 Yaesu FT-920, one for 40 and 80m I am hoping to get 160m going soon as possible -- Also very active on 6m (IC 756) , and a homebuilt 7ele yagi (my design) .

I also have a Yaesu FT-847 for satellite on vhf and uhf, and hoping to soon try 2m Meteor Scatter and maybe onto 2m and 6m - Earth Moon Earth (EME) .

I do a lot of research in antenna books and on the internet for antenna designs and then build my own antennas. I just finished putting together my radio room measuring 16ft x 10ft, I am hoping to be able to have a shack where people can visit and operate if they want, and I am also getting more involved in emergency communications .

As of April 2013 , I am quite active on 10m . I did some tweaking of a wideband 5 element 11m yagi design that was done by HPSD ---> http://www.hpsd.nl/

Its a 11m design that was redesigned by me using EZNEC for 10m . It has a U shaped reflector which gives the wideband characteristics . PDF info on link

I am running 100 watts from a Yaesu FT 920 into this antenna It is only up at 35 ft . If you have worked me on 10m after April 2013 , then this is why I am so strong .
