First licensed in 1949 as WØVVO. Later call sign was KBØLWV and my current one of ALPHA ALPHA ZERO TANGO CHARLIE AAØTC,

In WWII I was in the Signal Corp of the US Air Force. My rank during the service was staff Sgt. and Captain in the US Air Force Reserves.

My favorite mode is CW on 40 meters but I also spend a lot of time on 2 meters...146.94.

Currently an active member of the St. Louis and Suburban Radio club and enjoy attending the monthly meetings and also meeting new hams both in person and on the radio.

One of my favorite activities is being a foster grandparent to a group of 5 year olds and also a penpal to 8 year olds. I really enjoy being around the kids...they help keep me young.
