My ELMER was Tom - AG1i , SK , who could work the PART Field Day CW shack in his sleep and then ask me if I "got it?" --- I learned CW pretty quickly that way!

After a few moves over the years, my Station config. has changed, from an antenna farm with a 600 ft. Square Loop and 70ft. Tower /Cushcraft A4S Beam / IC756Pro-2 with the PW-1 Kw amplifier in Westford, to a Condo with an IsoTron 80M indoor antenna, near the Spinners Baseball field in Lowell, Ma., along the Merrimack River and finally ending up in the Highlands section of Lowell which allows me to setup some small backyard wire antennas. Through it all, I enjoy the ability to tryout many antenna configurations.

In addition, I enjoy localUHF/VHF ragchews with many local operators and the P.A.R.T. group out of Westford, Ma.

As my friend, Zoel, AA1HV, once told me ---- Ham antennas are only temporary--- You always want to try something different !!

Have FUN with it,

73 .-.-
