Our group has breakfast every Saturday morning at the City Cafe , 3302 Palmer Highway starting at  7AM... and our Club meetings are the 2nd Thursday of each month, 7PM at the Comunity Room 1109 Bayou Road in LaMarque, TX. next to the Vol Fire Dpt.  Call on the 147.14+ (167.9Tone) Repeater if you need help finding any of these places.

We have a weekly net on the above frequency every Tuesday evening at 7PM...It is sort of loose run and everyone is invited to participate...drop in if you are in the area, we will be glad to have you.

I have lived in Texas City, TX. all my life except for a period of time in 1967-68 that I spent in the Navy.  I'm a Vietnam Vet and was a Radioman 2nd class aboard the USS JOUETT DLG-29 (A big Destroyer) Now I am retired from Marathon Oil Company and enjoy spending time with Amateur Radio Related Activities. One project that has taken up quite a bit of time and $$ is a communication trailer constructed by myself and a few others. I am active in several emergency communication response groups and the Red Cross. Hope you all stay Radio Active....
