Greetings Fellow Amateurs I got my ham license at age 16 (in 1969). My first call was "WN8EEV". I got my General license something like in 1975 with call sign WB8USM. I had a Korean call HL9WE in 1979 (while in the Army). I upgraded to Extra and got my current call back when they still required 20 WPM. I enjoy building ham projects of all sorts. I build kits and homebrew. I also enjoy operating in field environments. I often backpack and will sometimes take my ATS3. The rig I use varies all the time. I have quite a few odd ball rigs that I shift around and of course no room to set most of them up.. My loving wife has allowed me to use a small corner of the dining room for my ever changing station. I am very happy operating just CW on 40 Meters. Don’t need a tower or rotatable beam to do that, plus I have met some very cool hams that way Visit my home page at http://www.flickr.com/photos/lotts-family
