JEKYLL ISLAND bi-annual mini expedition on 14.260.August 6-10-2011, April and August 2012.

I was on the north beach of Jekyll Island IOTA # NA-058, a 10mile long by 3mile wide, barrier island off the coast of Georgia, USA. working conditions: Icom 706, 100w, 20m hamstick. 160 contacts. Worked lots of Australian and Alaskan stations. Salt water made my 100w hamstick more efficient than 500w 266' Delta loop at home QTH in Atlanta, GA.
