Previously RMCS (Radio Operator) USCG, CW operator since 1951. Retired September 1970. Operated in the Pacific as KH6DOE/MM handling phone patches to the USA. north atlantic weather patrols as well as Viet Nam with Coast Guard Squadron Three. Taught Vocational Electronics in Salem NH, Sales Engineer for test equipment company. Came out west to Arizona and ended up in New Mexico. Team leader for the Malpais VE Group W5YI in Grants NM AND Rio Rancho, NM for past 19 years. XYL is W5KLW who assists with the VE team.
