My current rig is a Yaesu 857D driving a fan dipole for HF hung outside at about 23 feet and a 1/4 wave ground plane for VHF/repeater work in the attic of my single story ranch. A vertical is in the plans when the weather allows some outside work.

I'm currently making contacts in several modes, CW, SSB and digital. I recently completed my 50th confirmed state and submitted for my CW WAS. I will work on closing out a WAS in SSB and DIG modes as well; then, maybe I'll focus on a band. So, if you hear me give me a contact, and be sure to upload your contacts to eQSL and LotW.

My latest project is the TriBander from QRPKits, designed by KD1JV. My kit is for 20M, 30M and 40M.   It's completed and I'm in the process of assembling a 'go kit' where I'll be using it for some lunch time QSO's.
