I love my beautiful wife Martha who supports my hobbies which are of course ham radio, music in which I play guitar and drums I also am a Christian. I was born in Lafayette, Tn. lived in Red Boiling Springs until I was 11 yrs. old then moved to Lawrenceburg, Tn. where I now reside. (a few more places while in the Army) I am one of several net controls on the Before Breakfast Club which runs 2:am-4:am CST every morning, I am the net control every Friday morning, I hope you will stop by and check in with us, you can always meet a lot of good folks there! I am also a CVE (Contact Volunteer Examiner) through W5YI for those who need to take their test or upgrade. My current rigs are a Yaesu FT1000MP Mark V Field, Kenwood TS-830S, Icom IC 706 MKllG and most recently a friend loaned me a Yaesu FT-101 EE to play with, Amplifier is a Ameritron ALS-600 solid state, MFJ-986 Differential-T Tuner, antennas are 160,80,40, meter dipoles (80 meter is a cage dipole and 40 meter is a double bazooka), 10,12 and 15 meter vertical, a Comet GP-15- 6,2 and 70cm vertical also a Hygain TH-6DXX Thunder-bird beam that covers 20 15 and 10 meters on a 50ft Rohn tower with a Yaesu rotor.
