Photo above of downtown Long Beach, CA. 2 miles from my QTH in Carson (not nearly as attractive - hi!).

Active HF DXer. Mainly 20M, but 17, 15, 12, 10 (10-10 #72228) have been great lately. Work contests only half-seriously, and try for all special event stations and special certificates.

Avid homebrewer and military radio collector / restorer. Collect & restore classic Boatanchor (BA) radios as well.

Professionial Electrical Engineer (BSEE, MBA, etc) employed in Aerospace as Engineering / Mfg Manager (Power Converters & Avionics).

I QSL 100% and collect from all 100%. Working off a 1200+ QSL backlog, hope to be finished soon. Buro OK, direct OK, I don't need SASE or $$, or anything else - just 'yer QSL!

Started in radio in late 1950's, licensed as WB6WMY in '60s, AM Broadcast Band DXer (NRC member & IRCA charter member). Active LW DXer with great results here in Carson. May get into LOWFER work in near future.

Member: QCWA, ARRL, AM Int'l Subscribe to several Boatanchor newsgroups (mainly lurking).
