Net participation, weather spotting, hamfests, casual DX chasing, boat anchors, antennas . . . there are so many parts of ham radio that are interesting. Ham radio got me interested in Red Cross service, and that  led to work on our club station at the Red Cross, damage assessment training, AFES work, and a few deployments to help with recovery from major storms.

Having retired as the MO section traffic manager and now as an active traffic handler, I am spending more time on my boat anchor collection.  Learning about the history of these units, working on repairs, and sharing information about them with other BA addicts is a pleasure.
