My BitX20A QRP 20mx SSB home made transceiver

Thanks for looking me up. Received the Extra call sign Dec 23 2010.
We relocated from Australia Aug 15 2010 after retiring. My Australian call sign is VK2APG . Most people call me Gerry. My Xyl is originally from Michigan but she has lived in Oregon and Washington hence the move to the country area 45 miles north of Spokane Washington where we found this beautiful 2.8 acre property.
We have great neighbours one actually helped me erect my 2 towers!! Our equipment is IC7700 FT1000 mk5, FT847, and FTDX560. Amp is Emtron DX1B .
Antennas are 3 el SteppIR with 40 mx element. 6 el 6 metre Yagi , 13 el 2 metre yagi. IC706Mk2G in the 4WD. So hope to work you again soonI have to start all over with DXCC here so should be funlook forward to working you on another band.

Our 2nd QTH, is in Waldport Oregon CN74, 400 metres from the Pacific Ocean , using here IC-7700 barefoot to Hex Beam 20-6 metres at 12mts. Any QSLcards can be sent to my Washington address and will be redirected to our Oregon address. We will be travelling back and forth throughout the year between WA and OR. Hope to work you soon again ...We have now sold the Oregon QTH as my wife has health issues and is unable to take the road trip to Oregon from our qth in Washington...some 600 miles....the Hex bean we had ther is now sold to  aperson in spokane ...it was a very good antenna in regards to being able to stand up to the high winds we had on the Oregon coast....we loved that holiday location..but health issues as you get older take precident...

Here in Chewelah WA ..we have a great spot where there is no noise, and no antenna restrictions...I enjoy county hunting, and as of September 2015  have completed working and confirming all 3077 counties...it was a fun cfhallenge ....DXing wise as of today 15 June 2016 I have 313 countries worked and also 312 confirmed with real QSL cards..I do not do LOTW yet , maybe one day  I will go there..I am looking forward to working KH5P Palmyra DXpedition in the coming days as well as VP8SGI and VP8 in South Sandwich Is ...and then VK0EK Heard Is ..so some good entities coming up...In Australia I had 321 countries worked and confirmed..I did work P5/4L4FN in North Korea back in Dec 2001 and have his card..

I started of in the late 60s listening to short wave and BC frequencies ..and again sent out reception reports to the stations heard and received lots of QSL cards and verification letters..I have them all in albums and they are in pristine condition...I will value them till the day I die...any way ...enjoying retirement..in this small country towm (they call it the City Of Chewelah), to me it is a small village, approximately 2500 people , we have 1 traffic light , . 2 pharmacies , Ace Hardware, schools and a golf course, and a small airport...and a Safeway Super market store...very peacful living here..no traffic dramas..if we need to go to Walmart we have to travel 26 miles north to Colville, and Home Depot is 45 miles south in north Spokane..this setting very similar to where we lived in Australia about 60 miles south Sydney...

Today...June 15  2016, ....my DXCC tally  is 313 entities worked (mixed bands)....with 312 confirmed with real QSL cards..

just awaitng confirmation from  , VP8STI QSL received 16 May 2016.

VK0EK Heard Is QSL received 13 June 2016 ...now needing only  FT4JA Juan De  Nova
