Noel Encarnacion

Obtained Technician License Feb 10, 2010. Upgraded to General March 5,2011. Hopefully, I aspire to be proficient in Emcomm as well as digital. As of 3 March, 2012 I am pleased to announce my achieving Amateur Extra Status.new callsign is Alpha Golf 6 Kilo Alpha. Now, to study cw and to obtain the required hardware.

Hopefully, by the end of 2012 summer, I'll have up my A4s triband antenna and tower.pics will follow concerning the build.

November 2010 I graduated from CERT Academy. I'll be joining the Battalion in Mira Mesa Bat5. I encourage any Ham that is interested in being a valuable asset to their community to go through this. It wasn't easybut it wasn't bad.

For work, I am a letter carrier for the USPS stationed in Carmel Valley. I've continued in this work since Nov 1990. I do love my job.the only things I regret are the tanlines and not having every weekend off.

I have a twin brother(not a ham.yet) a younger brother and a sister youngest. I'm the only ham in my family. My parents are still alive and living in Rancho Penasquitos, where I grew up and went to high school.

Besides amateur radio I love riding my motorcycle, going fishing, Tennis, golf(not really good at it), as well as shooting, and archery( newer hobby).

I do go to church. Horizon Christian Fellowship.been going there since 1993. And since going there I have pursued many ministries. Audio/Video, Kitchen/Cafe, Jr. High/youth, Evangelism/Discipleship and, Clown Ministry.I've gone to a few countries as well. Now, I go to a smaller church called GC2 with my wife(Evelyn.not a ham.yet) and am having fun with the dynamics of attending a small growing church.

I usually am monitoring some of the 2m, 220, 440, and 6m repeaters in the area. And I hope to hear from you! And on occassion, I do a little digital on HF.
