Thank you for stopping by to learn a little bit more about me. I was born in 1965 and like a lot of hams, I got into radio at an early age. I became an official ham in 1993 and made the move to extra in 2004. I retired in 1998 which gives me a lot more time to spend with my family and friends.

If we are in a QSO and you are reading this then lets talk about our hobbies as they may be the same. Mine include any thing to do with financial matters, the outdoors, firearms, the electrical side of Ham radio and restoring tube radios. If nothing there peaks your interest then please introduce me to your hobbies. You never know, maybe I will be able to add to the list above after our QSO. I also enjoy military history and collecting military items from the civil war to Vietnam. This goes without saying the honor it is to be able to talk with any veteran. Transmitter/Transceivers = Icom, Kenwood, Hallicrafters, Hammarlund, Ranger, Alinco, Drake, Homebrew, Yaesu, Radio shack(no particular order)

Antennas = Not much more then a wire tossed out the window or some thing in the attic. The QTH here is under them dreaded deed restrictions. There is no tower or beam or rotor in use.

Operation = 160 meters through 23cm using all modes.

I strongly feel that the ham community is a fraternity of wonderful people that are always there to help out. And as such, I would also be more then happy to help any one, at any time, any way that I can. Please feel free to email me about any thing. Together, there is no problem that we can not solve.

My motto has always been 100% ham-spirit in every sense of the word.

At the beginning of 2005 I started reading onto cassette tapes the FISTS CW magazine for their blind members. It is a true honor to be able to do this reading for them.

QSL info = Any way you desire. I upload the logbook to LOTW and eQSL. Please do NOT send a SASE as these are not needed at all. But please do send the paper QSL's as I enjoy collecting them. If for some reason you have sent a QSL but never got a reply, then by all means shoot me an email and I will get another one right out. The QSL link can also be used to find out if I have recently received your QSL card.
