QSL image for AK4MP

First is that I am no longer looking for a contact from Vermont to complete my W.A.S.  Received 3 VT contacts during the VT 2013 QSO Party.

Now to get them all confirmed.

I QSL via LOTW, direct and upload to EQSL only as a courtesy, but require direct or LOTW for awards. I am currently working for my WAS and a SASE is not required. Save yourself postage when you mail a card by sending it at the postcard rate. No need to use an envelope in the USA.

I DO NOT SASE FOR CARDS FROM USA OPERATORS nor FROM USA QSL MANAGERS. IF I CAN SEND A QSL CARD AT the post card rate SO CAN YOU.

As you see, I am Tim Wright. I have been a ham since April of 1992. Yes, I started out as a No-Code Tech but my only interest was 2 meter mobile while I traveled to and from my home. I am a disabled E-911 dispatcher/retired volunteer fire fighter/EMT-A and an ex-police officer. I have been in the Public Safety scene for over 40 years. I am a certified VE and OES for my county so I still volunteer in Public Safety.

I'm married (35 years in Sept'10) 2 sons (both are fire fighters 3rd generation) with 3 grandchildren.

I use to tinker with UNIX programming but I currently tinker with networking computer systems. I am trying to learn CW by using the CW programs of CWTALK and CWGET and will be using these programs to make CW contacts. I am very active on 10 meters mostly on 28.400 and a few friends are trying to get a net started in my local area. Rig is the Yaesu FT-840 MFJ-962D tuner Antron A-99 for 10/12/15/17 and 20 meters @ 40 FT. 210 ft long dipole for 17/20/30/40/60/80 and 160 meters @ 30 ft.

I hope to QSO with you sometime in the future.

I would like to thank the following Hams for their help that they have given me in advancing to General(EXTRA NOW): Steven "Buck" Duley KA4DRZ, Oshel McKenny WB4LGD/SK, Matt Tinker AA4XA, Dave Vest KZ4G/SK, Scotty Thompson/KI4AT SK, Roger Castle K4QYK, Fred Jones WA4SWF, Ron Hamilton WB4HAM, Kenny Bramlett K4IT/SK and the King LID himself Tom Lykins K4LID and others too numerious to mention. Thankyou Guys for all the help you gave and are still giving.
