I am currently the ARRL Section Manager for Alaska.  I have recently moved back in time and have added Boatanchor radios to my interests.  Hallicrafters, Hammarlund, Heathkit, Drake, National, B&W, Gonset, TMC, and a few more radios are now in hand.

I am originally from Iowa and was WA0LPK starting March 1965. I did 24 years active + reserve in USAF.retired Aug1995 as Lt Col. I finished up my civilian career and left AT&T in Dec 1999. BS in Engineering from Iowa State Univ. MBA from Univ. of Utah, Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in Quality Engineering.  I have been retired over 13 years now and I am very good at it.  Never bored.

Family is Nancy (KL7NY) married 45 years (best friends for over 47), Andy (NL7QI) and Juliann (WL7MP) in the N Seattle, WA area.

Important Info: I am a Grandpa as of Oct 2006. Kaito Andrew Larsen. He doesn't have his license yet. :-) And Taiki Jack Larsen born Dec 2010.  Our first granddaughter is on the way and due in late April 2013.
