Bhagwati Pd Semwal (VU3BPZ) is for the 3rd time at Maitri Base, Antarctica (WAP IND-03) from 20 November 2009, till 28 feb 2011 as Communication Officer, among the 30th IAE as continues as 29 IAE member and returned back Home QTH-on 29 March 2011 and longest as fisrt indian during the expedition.

FROM 1 March 2011 to 3 march 2011 operating VU3BPZ ,No cahnce to operated from vessel M/V Ivan Papanin sailing off to capetown.

AT10BP also ran Specail combined event ( Indian and Russia) R1AND//AT10BPT10 from near by Novolazerevskaya Base in 2010.

Now AT10BP will be restored their call sign VU3BPZ from Dehradun (Uttarakhand) Himalaya

I am almost active daily, SSB on 20 mts.
After having chose my home adress as QSL route, I have been informed from my family to the fact that they getopen envelopes; evidently someone there removes IRCs or green stamps from the inside, before delivering the mail to my home address, so I have been forced toarrange foranother QSL Manager.

QSLs (DIRECT ONLY)have now to be requested to I1HYW.

My AT10BP QSL Cardshave been donated by Russian WFF (TNX RW3GW) and WAP (TNX I1HYW) and printed by UA6HPR. They should bealmost ready in a little while. PSE use SAE and enclose sufficient postage for return of QSLs.

I am going to new Indian antactic base site "BHARTI" Antarctica for next 5 months in summer & if get chance to opearating HAM radion MM from Indian expedition Vesel M/V IVAN PAPANIN during the sea peariod with special event short call sign and will be operating short duration stay in Bharti base and again from Maitri base ( feb end to march 2012)form MAITRI base.
