While getting this special callsign we did not know that Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams - TTD Information Centre was celebrating its GOLDEN JUBILEE CELEBRATIONS on 20th Sep 2006 !!!!
Government of India, Ministry of Communications & Information Technology has allocated this Special Call Sign for Special Event vide their Registered Letter No. L-14011/640/2006-AMT dated 5th Sep 2006 for temporary operation from 15th September 2006 to 21st September 2006.
We would be printing Special QSL Card for all the QSOs made with this Station and for SWLs. VU Hams have to send Self Addressed Stamped envelop whereas for DXers are to send Two IRCs along with Self Addressed Envelop
