Mi inicio como radioaficionado comenzó el 13 de octubre de 1998 siendo aspirante Nº 6584, y luego como novicio A CA2UWJ. Y desde el 10 de enero 2001 con la característica CE2UWJ.

He participado en las siguientes expediciones; Isla Damas con señal de llamada XR2G (Iota SA-086), faro Isla Dama (LH0029), Isla Santa Maria con señal de llamada 3G1M (Iota SA-069), CQ World Wide con señal de llamada CE1W, con el team Atacama Desert DX Group.

Además de las de las activaciones de las comunas de La Higuera, Vicuña, Paihuano, Río Hurtado, canela, y las QSL. Especial “La Serena Vívela” y natalicio de Gabriela Mistral en Paihuano por el radio club CE2LS.

I began as a radio amateur on 13th October 1998. I was first a “aspirant” with licence No 6584 and then a novice as CA2UWJ. From 10th January 2001 I have held the callsign CE2UWJ. I have participated in the following DXpeditions: Isla Damas with the special callsign XR2G (IOTA SA-086), lighthouse Isla Dama (LH0029), Isla Santa Maria with the special callsign 3GIM (IOTA SA-069) and CQ Worldwide with special callsign CE1W with the Atacama Desert DX Group. In addition I have taken part in special transmissions from the comunas of La Higuera, Vicuña, Paihuano, Río Hurtado, Canela and the special transmission “La Serena Vivela” from the birth place of the poet Gabriela Mistral en Paihuano with the La Serena Radio Club CE2LS.
