This is the new call of ex-CS1RLA/B BEACON, in Aldeia dos Chãos, near of Santiago do Cacem city, in the South Atlantic coast of Portugal. This call change was made due the new portuguese laws about radio beacons.

This BEACON is intended to working in multiband, but by now is working  in 50.076 MHz ,144.410 MHz and 432.425MHz, (is waiting for for 23 cm) but early will be on  1296.825 MHz. The power ERP is about 2,5 watts in 6m,  2m,  and 70cm and. We pane put about 5 watts in 23cm band.

The electronic circuits are all them home made, and material are from surplus equipment.

Antennas are:

a single horizontal dipole for 6m

A 1/4 wave ground plane vertical for 2m

a vertical J-POLE from PROCOM for 70cm

An home made dual alford-slot for 23cm (horizontal polarized)

This BEACON is operated by ARLA, Associação de Radioamadores do Litoral Alentejano, under ANACOM license nº -------------- And the RF technician is CT4RK Carlos Mourato.
