I was born in CT3, but now I'm working on the Azores Islands there have this new callsign of Faial Island CU7MD. Send qsl cards to the address in Madalena do Pico, which is where I spend most of the year. Only when I'm on vacation and traveling to CT3. CU is another DXCC entity. CU is Azores Islands and CT3 is Madeira Island.

Hello, thankful for the contact, I congratulate you for having contacted with such a small island (Porto Santo Island), located in the middle of Atlantic ocean and belonging to the Madeira Archipelago.

Porto Santo Island is in fact a very small island, with an area about 42 Km2, of low relief, being his maximum elevation of 516 m. It has about 5000 inhabitants and it is very sought by the tourism by his beautiful extensive beach of 9 Km of yellow sand, with medicinal properties and a medium temperature that varies among the 18th and 26th centigrade, and the temperature of the water of the sea is almost as the one of the air. Certainly of the best beaches of the europe.
