QSL process for CY0 DXpedition in September/October 2013:
f you worked WA4DAN/CY0, VE1RGB/CY0 or AI5P/CY0 on 30 September 2013, please QSL directly to each operator per their QRZ.com details.
CY0P QSL Method 1: For CY0P during the period of 1 October to 9 October 2013, we will accept PayPal requests for QSLs and accept contributions via PayPal without a card from the other operator, but the PayPal message MUST contain the call sign of the operator, it MUST contain the return mailing address, and it MUST contain all the details of the QSO from their log. Again, a donation of $5 will be suggested to pay for the card, postage, etc. Email requests for a card that are not accompanied by a PayPal contribution of at least the cost of postage will see the card returned via the bureau. PayPal email address firstname.lastname@example.org
NoteIf you worked CY0P on more than one band, send also an email with the QSO details from your log. It is almost impossible to read the detail of multiple QSOs on a PayPal form!! Fomrat your logging information as follows: CALL SIGN - DATE (day/month/year) - TIME (UTC) -- QRG (MHz) -- MODE (CW/SSB).
CY0PQSL Method 2: For CY0P during the period of 1 October 2013 to 9 October 2013, you may QSL direct to VE1RGB with self-addressed envelope and a suggested donation for materials and trip cost-recover of $5.00. Direct QSLs requests that do not include at least the cost of return postage in the form of a SASE will result in the cards being returned via the ureau. Direct requests accompanied with expired IRCs will similarly see the CY0P QSL card handled via the bureau. SASEmust have either Canadian or American postage stamps!
CY0P QSL Method 3: We will accept bureau cards via AI5P
Update 12 Feb 2014:
Progress on QSLs was delayed by two weeks but has started again full time. There is a considerable backlog
of direct requests but it is expected that it will be cleared by end of February.
There will be a bulk mailing of direct cards from the USA in early March, after which PayPal QSL requests will resume.
NOTE: Mail has been very, very slow. Some QSLs take 8 weeks to get to Asia, 6 weeks to ZS,
4 weeks to USA, etc!! Please be patient before sending me emails :))
