D44CF is now QRT for this time. The last QSO was on 2014-04-08 (April 8th, 2014) at 09.00 UTC on 10,1 MHz CW.

Please read this information before you send any e-mail or funds.

Too many modern operators do not read and do not understand simple instructions.

Do not use any mailing address previously used by me or published by some "QSL Information Websites".

Do not send any funds before I confirm that you are in the log and I can send a card or cards.

In April 2014 I mailed about 100 QSL cards from Cape Verde. A large part of them is lost.

In May 2014 I sent two packets of QSL cards, one containing about 100 cards to SSA, Sweden and another one containing 1 kg of cards to PZK, Poland. In July 2014 I mailed 500 g (over 1 lb) cards to W6 QSL Bureau in California. All of them are lost.

If you have supplied return postage and have not received my card(s), please send a new list of contacts and information about your PayPal payment. I will send a duplicate.

In April 2015 I will discard the logs from 2014 activity as D44CF. Before that, I will try to reply to proper QSL requests when I am at home. My QSL cards are free, it is the postage that costs. I accept QSL requests up to 1 year after the QSO. Please send a proper QSL request by e-mail containing the following information:

Your call sign

QSO data - date year/month/day  - time UTC - frequency in MHz - mode - received report

Your postal address

I will check the log and send a confirmation including the cost of postage.

In the meantime, please read my impressions from Cape Verde:
