Born in 1961, active as a radio amateur since 1976. I am living with my family near Munich, Bavaria,
in the beautiful southern part of Germany.

I am the managing director of my own electronics company, producing LED illumination systems.

Main amateur interests are digital modes such as RTTY, BPSK31, MFSK, OLIVIA, JT65 and FSK441.
Currently I am running a Kenwood TS-870S with an ACOM 1010 linear amplifier (800 Watts) on
short wave with a TITANEX 11 ele Logarithmic Periodic Antenna and some full size dipoles for
80m and 40m on top of my roof.

For VHF/UHF I use a Kenwood TS-790S with a linear amp 400 watts and a 11 ele yagi as well as
some verticals for short range communication over repeaters. I am QRV in WSJT/JT65 on tropo
and FSK441 for meteor scatter.

I am the builder and sysop of two repeaters in the Munich area with EchoLink connection.
One is DB0EL-R on the TV Tower (Node #7385) and the other is DM0ZB-L in Munich-East (Node #7380).
