I like to construct antennas. Picture shows my EXPLORER18 - experimental 7 band beam (extended EXPLORER14 from HY-Gain).

Works from 40 to 10 mtrs = 7 bands, 7 elements.Boom 5,4m.
weight app 28kg. Optimized for 12m due to most missing countries. Versatower =10.5 mtrs high.

Wkd valid DXCC with this antenna = 339 of 339 !!.

40m = 331 DXCC

30m = 334 DXCC   (need KH1, KH3, P5, VK0M, ZS8)

20m = 338 DXCC   (need P5)

17m = 332 DXCC

15m = 337 DXCC  (need VK0M+ KH7)

12m = 322DXCC

10m = 324DXCC

On 80/160 with folded wire-gp:

80m   = 314 DXCC

160m = 272 DXCC

Menber of: GDXF, HSC, VHSC, SHSC and EHSC.

On top = 5 element KONNI antenna for 6 meters.

Worked 174 DXCC on 6m, including KH6 and VK6

My new hobby QRPP with my =  Frog Sound = QRPP tranceiver. Comes from China as kit. Output pwr = 2 watts!!

Total costs =  9.68 Euros which is eqv 10 Us$ including shipping costs.  Listen to my CQ on 7024.4 Khz
