I am using a TS-590 with an Expert 1K-FA for HF. For VHF also TS-590 with a DB6NT - Kuhne - Transverter (TR 144 H+40) and a BEKO HLV-1000. You will also find a TS-2000 and a IC-2820 (for D-Star). At the left side you can see a D-Star hot spot built with a RaspberryPi and a DVAP. It works fine!
