About 10GHz

Rebuilding the station after the dish crash is finished. I found some more space to improve like mounting the dish directly on top of the box. I'll get back to this after the rainscatter season.

Here's the result of my 10GHz activity since I started in June 2011. That's 74 grid squares and 19 DXCC countries:

When operating from anywhere in JN58 I will sign DK1MAX.

From any other grid square in DL my callsign is DK1MAX/p.

Activities from other countries as given in CEPT or other rules, as XYZ/DK1MAX/p or XYZ/DK1MAX.

My current setup is a Yeasu FT817 and DB6NT components. Output is app. 10W into a 75cm Gibertini offset dish with a DC5GY feed. During my activities you will find me on KST chat.

Most frequent visited sites are:

SEKTOR S: JN58st with a 40...S...290 degree horizon

SEKTOR N: JN58rp with a 280...N...100 degree horizon

SEKTOR 360: JN58ov with a 360 degree horizon - during contests only

The BIG secret!

A stacked array of 8 horns for 10GHz:

Ah - Skeptic? Good!

That's a part of Cameron Carpenters International Touring Organ as seen and heard live in Ingolstadt, July 2014. WOW!

About HF:

After many years of playing in the high power league I finally decided to reef the sails. So the current setup is an ICOM 7700 barefoot and a dipole for the higher bands. 30m/40m is done with a 2+2el yagi from eantennas but the 40m thing is not too good. On 80m I'm using a half-sloper which seems to work well to NW.

And finally... about targets:

My (real) life is full of targets and goals so I decided to take my hobbies easy. No competition, few contests and no score-lists and leaderboards. Personally I would be glad and thankful to get a chance to have all DXCC entities confirmed. Still two to go and both got scheduled for 2015. Is this THE END? Guess ;)

Here is my (e)mail address:

And just in case you don't see a jpg image here... try this out:
