Hello dear OM/YL and thank you very much for looking up! I´m 41 years old and an amateur radio since 1982. The first license I got at time of former Yugoslavia, in age of 14. Between 1982 and 1989 was operating the club station, signing YU4EZC ( 4N4C ) in the air. At the very begin of my HAM life, the DXing and HST were of my interest, but made also deep and important experiances with first computers, VHF via satelites, SSTV... later it changed into fascination for contesting. Contesting remained until nowdays to be my greatest passion. Many beautiful days of my youth I used to spend at our clubs hilltop location Smetovi ( near Zenica ) where I since latest time still seek the peace for my soul. Late 1980ies I moved to ( University ) Sarajevo and more or less left the hobby for the next 18 years. Since 1992 I live in Germany, happily married with Evelyn - and proud to our two sons, Miron ( 14 ) and Immano ( 11 ). In year 2002 established and since then am running my own international project-consulting office, occupied in trade with industrial plants and road-building equipment ( www.technex-international.de ). The german license is kept by me since 2004, but DK6XZ was "on the air" for the first time in summer 2007 - my Revival. As often as possible I visit Bosnia-Herzegovina, to be QRV there as E77XZ - preferably in time of some major contests. My QTH is Pforzheim, also called Goldtown ( Goldstadt ). 117.000 inhabitants city is known as Port to the Black Forest ( Schwarzwald ), located some 50 km to the north of Stuttgart, in south-west Germany. Microlocaton of our downtowns penthouse, at lowest valleys point, offers only very restricted antenna solutions; so I have in use one antenna for all HF ( except top-band ) bands: DXSR V-FD-4, vertical Windom. Really interessting what fun and how many DX I was able to enjoy with this Alu-whip ( 6,8 m ) and 15 m wire that slopes into backyard from the fed point on 18 m agl. I am also convinced FT-1000MP operator and use KENT twin paddle with ETMC9COM-X3. Time to time I´m operating station DL0MB, the Clubstation of Mercedes-Benz Rastatt, that is equipped with two towers and following antennas: KLM KT34 @37m + N/W KT34 @18m, Optibeam OB4-40 @33m, Optibeam OB16-3 @18m, Sloper 40m, Delta Loop 40m, GP 80m/160m, Delta Loop 80m, Inv. V 80m/160m & K9AY RX-Loop etc. We have great guys and fun in the MB-crew. We are always very pleased to work you ... mostly in the contests. Near contesting it is great joy to rag chew with you in high speed telegraphy. DXing is further side of amateur radio I like; but any field day style activitiy, smaller antenna projects and QSLing bring a great excitment in our hobby too. Phone and CW modes on HF are preferred. 73 Suad, DK6XZ ( E77XZ ) Wellcome to view my: Photo Album + + + The Highlights of the Revival 2007/2008: Activating for the first time the new country prefix of Bosnia & Herzegovina in period of October 2007 to March 2008, E7/DK6XZ have entered successfully 3 major contests and logged from E71EZC mountaintop location over 10.000 QSOs and 171 DXCCs - in a total of only 17 days, splited in three few-days-activities. QTH was: Vodice, near Zadar, 50 km along the Adriatic coast to the south. T90HQ ( 2007 ) and E7HQ ( 2008 ) fighted successfully for the honor of Bosnia and Herzegovina contesters in IARU Championships. I was proud to be a part of those Head Quarters teams. Resume of the first 15 months after new start: over 30.000 QSOs => DK6XZ logged almost 10.000 Qs and 190 DXCC; activity from E7 fruited with over 20.000 Qs with ~ 200 DXCC in that short time. + + + List of some single-operator contest activities:
