my name is Tom and I was born on February 25th, 1982. When I was 14, I passed the license test in January 1998. One year later I passed the morse code test and got my current callsign DK8MCT. Since 2007 I have been chasing DXCC´s. My big goal is to reach the DXCC HONOR ROLL. In 2010 I passed the US extra class test, so I am the holder of the US callsign K7CWN. The suffix of my vanity callsign is in memoriam of my mentor in DXing Horst, DJ2WN (sk 2003).
My other hobby is running marathons (42,195km). I have finished 17 marathons so far. My personal best time is 3:54:43 hours at the Stockholm Marathon in May 2015.
I upload my log to LOTW and CLUBLOG regularly.
