Hi, I am Andy, DL1AKP, and I am a radio amateur since 1992 (former callsign was DG0OFL). I upgraded the license to full privileges in 1993.

Commonly active on short wave, in the "early years of hamming"" also on VHF and UHF. Now VHF/UHF only for local contests.

My main interests are short wave DXing. Former mainly in SSB and a bit CW, but I more and more stopped SSB and now to 99.9% ONLY CW. The situation on the bands got worse and worse in SSB with the years.

Now my principles are: "Stop shouting - work CW!"

Do a little bit in short wave portable work (SOTA).
