Hi, I'm licensed since 1986. First I started on VHF as DG2JA, and in 1989 I upgraded to full legal license. The key driver upgrading to DL1EJA was to learn CW, and run higher power rates. Being almost 15 years exclusively on 2m (with some side steps to 6m, 70cm and 23cm) I worked all kind of DX-modes (Aurora, Meteorscatter, Tropo, Sporadic-Es and Moonbounce). Meanwhile my focus changed to HF, and I setup a nice HF-Station working all kind of DX nowadays.

Station setup: IC-756PROII with Inrad Roofing Filter + Alpha-99 Linear (2xGU74B)

Antennas:

Optibeam OB11-5 at 23m / 75ft (10m,12m,15m,17m,20m) + OB1-4030 at 25m / 82ft(30m+40m)

,

2x 27,5m / 90ft Long-Wire with open feeder to a symmetric Tuner (Plastar BT-1500A)

Expeditions I was involved in: 5A7A, DL1EJA/mm, LY2AAM, LY44WFF,OZ0MS, PA6FI/mm, SO4TEC, YL1A

Holding:

10-Band DXCC, 6-Band WAC, DXCC-Challenge 2700, Triple Play Award, EU-DX-D 1000,

WAE-TOP, IOTA-600, IOTA-AS, IOTA-BI, IOTA-EU, IOTA-OC, IOTA-NA, IOTA-World

6m DXCC 150, 6m WAC, 6m UKW-EU-D Trophy, 6m DLD

2m WAC, 2m UKW-EU-D Trophy
