Dear all,

many thanks for visiting my qrz.com information!!

First some basic informations. I am born in 1966 and married with my wife Christine since 2010. My first callsign was DH0EAB it was one of the former class "A" callsigns (30 wpm in CW). After uprade to 60 wpm end of the 80ties I got my class "B" callsign DL2EDF. It`s funny but in Germany the class "B" was higher that class "A" licence :-) The location is round about 20km west of Duesseldorf and 25km north west of Cologne.

My current RIG is:

YAESU FT-897D and US ULTIMAX 100 Antenna (7m wire) for 80m-10m SSB, CW, PSK31, RTTY, JT65-HF, Hell. I use the 897D also for 2m/70cm SSB/CW operation with an simple double dipol.

YAESU FT-817 for 6m SSB, CW with simple dipole. Additionally I use the 817 for 2m FM operation @ an Cushcraft RingoRanger.

VIBROPLEX keyers - Vibrocube and Code Warrior Jr.

ICOM ID-E880 for 70cm D-Star with DIAMOND X50N antenna

ANYTONE AT-588UHF for 70cm FM and Echolink/IRLP with classic Groundplane antenna

ICOM ID-31E handheld for portabel and mobile use in 70cm FM analog and D-Star with an short commercial PROCOM antenna.

MOTOROLA MX1000 handheld for 70cm FM talk around at local repeaters.

YAESU FT-60R with Duoband YAGI for satellite operation via AO27 and SO50 sats.

DigiMode Equipment: Apple 15'' MacBookPro 2,4GHz with cocoaModem 2.0 and JT65-HF OSX software / SignaLink SL-1 modem.

I am interested in QRP with only 5 - 10 watts in all modes so I prefer all digimodes and CW operation to get any DX.
