This is my old QSL
(View of the main building of August Hermann Francke Foundations in the center of Halle Saale)

The construction of the foundations began in the 17th Century.
August Hermann Francke created an almshouse and college town for needy children.
2013 tribute to the city Halle (Saale) August Hermann Francke for his 350 birthday for his achievements.
The Historical orphanage was built as the first building of the educational and social institutions 1698-1700.
Built with the help of donations, it housed all the facilities of the foundations such as the bedrooms and classrooms,
the bookstore, a pharmacy and a print shop.
Francke founded the first teacher training seminar in Germany and laid the foundation for the training of teachers.

The Francke Foundations as a college town include the largest half-timbered house (400m long) in Europe.
The city Halle (Saale) and the state of Saxony-Anhalt have a request is made to take the Foundations in the UNESCO-World Heritage Site.
