I am interested in short wave work in my mobile, because i think that is one from the most difficult problems with the very short antennas on the car.

The newest mobile antenna is seen on the pic. It is for 80, 40 and 20 m band. In the black case are the tuning coils and the variable capacitor for

the 3 bands, upon stands a 2 m antenna from military surplus.

The whole design is from the car-inside remote controlled over the complete bandwith with swr 1,0.

All my mobile antennas are complete homemade. This includes magnetic, capacitive, only-coil, and base-loaded-coil antennas.

I am working with a IC 706 with 100 W output.

On the pic on the right side you see my homemade windgenerator, which feeds a 256 Ah Ni-Cd-accu standing under the shacktable.

With this "green" current i handle my rx/tx equipment.

Furthermore i do some work on Tesla-coils from very small ones to almost a big one with over 1 mio. Volts output. On the pic you see one with

about 300 - 400 kV output...
