SWL-reports via Email very much appreciated !!

see my other (strange) hobby at www.alphorn-am-main.de

I was active again from TUNŲ island / Denmark (IOTA EU-172) as OZ/DL4FO from August, 4. until 16. this year (2013) on HF bands and 50 MHz mainly in CW (see QSL card, antenna and RBN-report below). QSLs are being printed and will be send by September 2013!!

OZ/DL4FO on Tunų Island, Baltic Sea, IOTA EU-172, in 2006,2009,2011 and 2013.

In 2013 I used a simple 2x15m dipole with balanced feeding on a fiberglass-mast, 16 m above ground. With a lot of saltwater nearby, this is a fine antenna, as the RBN-report from ZL shows:

latest homebrew-project in October 2012 (front left):
Replica of the Ameco AT-1 tube TX (see: www.tuberig.com, 5 watts out on 80, 40, 30 and 20m)
The elecraft K-3 is great, the old Collins-line as well, but sometimes it's fun to use a "back-to-the-roots" station like this
(simple AT-1 crystal-transmitter with old 0V2-tube-RX).

These pictures were taken late at night after first smoke-test of the new rig. Usually my shack is absolutely tidy and well organised

(I worked N4EX, Rich in NC with 4 watts and a low dipole on 20m !)

activity in 2012 (july 8 to 22):
Fehmarn Island IOTA EU-128

activity in summer 2010:

A long time ago, but a beautiful experience:
