Welcome watching the presentation of my Ham Radio history

Not active from home on shortwave sad,  just some SWLing. (Look at QRZ / DE7RXA). I prefer Low-Band DXing

and portable operation in QRM and noise free areas. Last Low-Band activity at Bernd, DL7APV.

Other hobbies: Hike in the nature or with bicycle,  photography and some astronomy.

Rig:  YAESU  FT-991 / MFJ Tuner  /  2x10m Dipole with ladder line and balun up 9m.

Mobile antenna by MFJ and magnet mount with extra radials.

5 el. Yagi for 2m CW / SSB operation during a contest.

Just 40......60W output @ 12V DC from car battery or extern accumulator.

A trip to Grimeton, Sweden to visit the VLF Station SAQ in June 2014.

Vacation nr. Perth, WA, at VK6ANE, ex DL7NE in 1990.  My call in Down Under:  VK6ASI

The rig was a Drake TR7A, Heath SB-200, TH3 and dipoles.

DL7SI in Berlin-Spandau 1983. TS-820S / FR-101 ext. RX, homemade linear, my "KRAFTEI 800"  ("Power Egg 800")  Used a single RS 1002A (4-400A / QB4-1100) in grounded grid and 4kV.

Operating the station of my old friend, Ham Radio and electronic teacher Axel, DL7HN (SK) circa 1975. Installed is my old Drake B-line, Axel´s TR4, Heathkit HA-10 Amp. /// Antennas:  2 el.Quad and dipoles.

 

DL7SI starts 1973 with a Heathkit SB-102 in Berlin-Kreuzberg.

 

 

Starting with SWLing and a 0-V-1 homemade RX. Later a TRIO (Kenwood) 9R-59D.

 

 

A trip with Hurtigruten along the coast of Norway to the North Cape and Kirkenes.
