About me:

Licensed in 1977 at the age of 15 years I was very active on VHF until the end of the 80's with at least 1 kW into a 17-El.-F9FT-Yagi working SSB, CW and Highspeed-MS. That gave me lot of nice contacts and heavy TVI in the neighbourhood. smiley

End of the 80's I start working only on the Shortwave-Bands and made 331 DXCC until today with mostly only 100 Watt into GP-Antennas. I hope to catch the Rest also sometimes, but that's very difficult with my small Station. sad

During these years I had a lot of Transceivers like the Kenwood TS-930, TS-940, TS-850, Yaesu FT-757GXII, FT-1000, FT-1000MP, FT-2000 and Icom IC-706mkII.

In 2009 I changed my QTH and get infected by the VHF-Virus again. After building my Antennas (thanks to DK7ZB) and an Elecraft XV144-Transverter for my Yaesu FT-2000 I'm now QRV mostly on the VHF-Bands in SSB, CW and FSK441. End of September 2010 I sold my FT-2000 and bought the Yaesu FT-847 and a Götting-4CX250-Amplifier for 2m. In May 2011 working at the antennas was finished and now I'm using a 9-El.-DK7ZB-Yagi on 2m and a 4-El.-DK7ZB-Yagi on 6m as you can see on the picture.

After a long time of searching I had luck and in March 2012 I bought a BEKO HLV-300 Amplifier for VHF and sold the good old 4CX250B-Amplifier. Now I am running up to 300 Watt on VHF in SSB, CW and WSJT-Modes. enlightened

When I'm at the station you can meet me in the ON4KST-Chat to arrange Skeds.

As I am also still interested in chasing DX on the Shortwave-Bands I just bought a "new" transceiver for these activities also. Now I'm owner of an Icom IC-775DSP, a real big rig with a first class receiver. yes yes yes

After some not really succesfull trips into the world of SDR -Software Defined Radios- I just get an ELAD FDM-S1 SDR-Receiver. Together with my old Fujitsu-Laptop and HDSDR-Software it opens a new door to SDR. It's mazing what you can do with that little piece of technique.

I'm member in DARC OV Lübeck, DOK E03 and Station-Manager for the Clubstation DL0LK .

Hope to meet you on the bands sometimes.

Pictures from our actvity during the CQWPXSSB-Contest 2012 from Lighthouse Westerhever Sand in the North Sea.

Under the call DA0T we made abt. 2500 QSO with abt. 950 Prefixes into 111 Countries. Result were 5.100.000 Points.

Antennas were 2 x 32m-Dipol up 35m and Groundplanes from 10m - 40m.
