Welcome to my QRZ.COM Website!

APRS in operation!
Track DL8RDL-9 If you catch me mobile, you can track my position clicking the link

Since September 24th 2009 I am back again (after 2 years abstinence) on HF with my mobile station.
The mobile rig is a VW T4 van, Yaesu FT-100 and a Kenwood MA-5 gp-antenna.
For VHF/UHF I use a Diamond NR770H.

Hope to catch you! If you hear me, you can see my position in realtime HERE

I like mobile CW-operations with my straight key!

At home I work with my TS-850, Expert 1K-FA, a HEXBEAM by SP7IDX (tnx Waldi for your incredible, great antenna!)
for 10/12/15/17/20m and a "Moregain" for 40/80m, homebrew by my good friend Andy, DL3RCG. On 6m I use my FT-100 and a 4el. Yagi by G0KSC (InnovAntennas).
Logging-Software: Logger32 by Bob Furzer. Official website: www.logger32.net
Thanks for his GREAT FREE(!)ware and the service he and his team gives to hams around the world!!!

I like CW very much but also SSB is taking place during operation.
For improving your CW skills I recommend the site lcwo.net written by Fabian Kurz, DJ1YFK.
