About myself: I was born in 1952 in Bad Doberan/Germany. Later I became a civil engineer and have been practising this profession since 30 years. Learned to know how funny amateur radio can be with the support of Heinz, ex DM2BKA in 1965, received my radio-licence in Sept.1971; before I had been worked as a shortwave-listener for 6 years.

My interests were the construction of antenna-towers and cubical quad-antennas, using the morse-conde, collecting awards, running contests and looking for DX-stations.Later- than I had the possibility - I went to other countries to be a DX-station myself.

I am owner of 5band DXCC with stickers for 30m,17m, 12m and 160m.

I am the DARC-award-manager for the EUROPA-Award and the Honour Roll.

Member of: DARC eV., GDXF, DIG, NIAR, MARCOMe.V., DX/HF commitee of DARC; Ex-call's: DM4SDA, Y45SA, Y25JA, OK8DBU, 4S7FBG; 4S7WAG; 9N7AN; ZD7F; C56R; C53M;VP2EFB; VU4AN/VU3RYE; VU7RG/VU3RYE , VU7SJ,C56/DL9GFB; 3B8/DL9GFB; LX/DL9GFB; ON/DL9GFB; SM7/DL9GFB; OZ/DL9GFB;
