Harzer SchmalspurBahnen (HSB)

1887 wurde mit der Strecke Gernrode - Mägdesprung die erste Schmalspurstrecke im Harz eröffnet.
Die HSB unterhält heute das längste zusammenhängende Schmalspur-Streckennetz Deutschlands
von 140,4 Km länge mit täglichem Dampflokbetrieb und insgesamt 48 Stationen.

The Harz Narrow Gauge Railways (HSB) were opened in 1887 with the track Gernrode-Maegdesprung. Today it maintains a length of 140 km, which is the longest contiguous stretch of narrow-gauge railway network in Germany, with steam locomotives operating every day and a total of 48 stations.
