        Universität Leipzig can look back
        over an exciting history. The
        second-oldest university in
        Germany, where teaching has
        continued uninterrupted since its
        beginnings, it has been held in
        high esteem down the centuries
        for its academic achievements. And
        it is upholding this tradition, now
        and into the future.
        In 2009, Universität Leipzig will be
        celebrating its 600th anniversary
        with a prestigious and diverse programme
        of events in the presence
        of guests from Germany and all
        over the world. In 2009, Leipzig
        will be the focus of attention both
        national and international.
        Come and join the celebrations!

        DR600UL provides a special amateur radio station
        and a special DOK 600UL in cooperation of the
        local departments  S30, S31, S37 of the DARC  and
        the Leipzig University to mark this anniversary.
