Good day / Sawasdee,

My nick name is "Park" which sounds like Korean's name but I'm 100 percent Chinese born in Thailand (CBT).

I've been amature radio license since 1996 when I was 16 years old. The 1st station was located inSamutprakarn (SPK) province, equipped with Yaesu VHF FM through homebrew Folded dipolex4 at 5 meters high (16 feet).

Yaesu HF rig run through Diamond-CP6 6 bands vertical antenna, optional are 15 meter band inverted vee and random wire antenna connected through Yaesu FC-40 automatic antenna tuner. Also have one cheap manual antenna tuner capable for 1.8-56MHz.

Since mid 2010, I bought a new house located in Nonthaburee (NTB). New antenna is homebrew vertical omni directional antenna which cover VHF and UHF band at 11meter height (34 feet) HF antenna is T2FD (23 meters long) powered by Clubstation (local brand antenna manufacturer) at 6 meter height. Since it is full size folded dipole of 40meter band and it is acting NVIS at this height, so I can made very good contact for in country communication.

I have gained US extra class license (Callsign AG6FA) on April 2011 and been approved to be non-US VE after that.

On Feb 2013, I have put up a new HF Hex-beam antenna and obtain new (old stock) LDG AT-100Pro II on Nov 2013. So I have dipole antenna with the directional antenna for HF band now.

It happened to be lightning strike on March 2013 when the first strom hit Thailand. My radio survived by good grounding protection systembut all satelite IRD and computers with network devices were dead.

I replace my gear to FT-1000MP on September 2014, it gives a lot of different communication in noisy signal with EDSP, much better than FT-857D can do.

Recently FT-950 has been being our family since January 2015. It provides good selectivity and noise reduction. BTW, I think DSP would not good when compared to machanical filter on FT-1000MP but I prefer fresh electronic ages than 15 years old.
